1. emit (verb)
To send out a beam, noise, smell or gas.
Ex1: The alarm emits infra-red rays which are used to detect any intruder.

2. refinery (verb)
To make something pure or improve something, especially by removing unwanted material
Ex1: Crude oil is industrially refined to purify it and separate out the different elements, such as benzene.
Ex2: Sugar and oil are refined before use.
Ex3: To refine something also means to improve it by making small changes: We haven't finished refining the plan yet
3. annually (adverb)
Happening once every year, or relating to a period of one year

4. effort (noun)

5. Representative (adjective)

6. interfere ( verb)
To prevent something from working effectively or from developing successfully
Ex1: Even a low level of noise interferes with my concentration.

7. administrator (noun)
Someone who helps to manage an organization .
Ex1: He's studying business administration.
